A backlog in the delivery queue delayed webhooks by up to 40 minutes for approximately 11% of endpoints. No payments were affected and no events were lost; all deliveries were replayed. Cause was a slow consumer holding a connection from the pool. We have added a per-endpoint timeout and an alert on queue age.
